The New Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Project Over Brings the Fight to First-Person Perspective

The new Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Project Over is coming soon!

Ubisoft is back with a major shake-up to the legendary Ghost Recon franchise  — this time going first-person for the very first time!
Ubisoft is gearing up to redefine one of its most iconic tactical shooter franchises. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Project Over marks a daring evolution for the series — stepping away from its traditional third-person roots and diving headfirst into a fully first-person experience for the very first time.

Leaks suggest intense jungle & swamp missions across Southeast Asia, filled with stealth, strategy, and full-blown tactical warfare.

Set deep in the jungles and swamps of Southeast Asia, Project Over promises an intense mix of stealth, strategy, and high-stakes combat. Leaks hint at missions where players must rely on environmental awareness, precision teamwork, and real-world tactics to survive. Expect dense foliage, unpredictable weather, and realistic gun-play that pushes immersion to a new level.

Expect realistic combat, deep team coordination, and a true next-gen experience!

Ubisoft is reportedly focusing on authentic squad coordination — a return to what made Ghost Recon a household name among tactical shooter fans. With advanced AI, a new command system, and seamless multiplayer integration, Project Over is shaping up to be a true next-gen tactical experience.

Following Ubisoft’s current model, Project Over will launch as a live-service title, with ongoing updates, seasonal missions, and long-term content support. Players can expect fresh challenges, new gear, and evolving operations that expand the story long after release.

Platforms & Release Window

  • Platforms: PlayStation 5 | PC | Xbox Series X/S
  • Release Window: Between 2025–2026 (official date still under wraps)

With Project Over, Ubisoft isn’t just reviving the Ghost Recon name — it’s reimagining what tactical shooters can be. If the studio delivers on its promises, this could be the most intense and immersive Ghost Recon yet.

The Ghosts are returning… with a whole new perspective.
